Introducing the G60U: laser and PUR edgebanding for high-volume panel production
 
The G60U is a full-servo, high-speed edgebander built for New Zealand kitchen, cabinet and furniture manufacturers who need flawless edges at production speed. It combines a two-colour PUR glue system with a 3 kW laser edging unit, so you can run zero-glue-line laser edges and strong, moisture-resistant PUR bonds on the same machine, at feed speeds of 16-30 m/min.
 
A steel rail structure and steel pressure beam keep the G60U rigid and accurate through multi-shift production. Servo-controlled units handle the adjustments. Operators change edge thickness, profile and trimming settings from the 21.5-inch touch screen instead of setting each unit by hand. That means faster changeovers, fewer mistakes and less reliance on highly skilled setters.
 
Why manufacturers choose the G60U
• 12-channel servo edge feed: load up to 12 edge band types and thicknesses and switch between them automatically. There's no waiting to change rolls between jobs.
• Two-colour PUR + 3 kW laser: switch between white and coloured PUR, or laser edging, without purging. All three share one servo pressing section.
• Servo pre-milling with diamond tools: 2 x 2.2 kW cutters with built-in dust extraction leave a clean, square edge ready for banding.
• Servo end trimming: the template travels with the panel, so there's no sliding contact, no scratches and no chipped corners.
• 4-motor corner rounding: perfectly formed rounded corners on leading and trailing edges.
• Profile scraping, floating flat scraping and twin buffing: excess glue is removed and the edge is polished, so panels come off the machine ready to assemble.
• Automatic lubrication: keeps the machine running without relying on manual maintenance.
